Hi My name is Fleur Durbach. I have been trained and working with FIE since 1989 when Prof Reuven first visited South Africa. I came to Shoresh to do the trainers course in 1991 and It has been the most valuable course I ever attended. I worked in The Cognitive Research Unit at the University of WITS for ten years developing IE materials for SA students. I refreshed my training in Amsterdam 2018. I work in collaboration with Bellavista school where I promoted IE. I currently train teachers in Johannesburg Private schools but also work in previously disadvantaged communities where IE is desperately needed to move beyond the poverty cycle.
